Quote templates Show the "Load template" / "Save as template" controls in the quote builder. Turn off to hide them. Saved templates are kept and reappear when re-enabled. Star ratings on contacts Show a 1–5 star rating on contacts — in the address book, contact profiles, and the CRM client list. Off by default. Existing ratings are kept and reappear when re-enabled.

Google Maps API Key (optional)

With a key, the Venue/Delivery and Collection address fields on the quote builder get Google Places address autocomplete. Without one, the 📍 Map and 🗺 Directions buttons still work — they open Google Maps directly and need no key. Create a key in the Google Cloud Console with the Places API enabled, and restrict it to your domain.

Require two-factor authentication for all users When on, every user must set up an authenticator app the next time they sign in, and a 6-digit code is required at every sign-in (password and Google alike). When off, 2FA becomes optional — users who have it keep it, but no one is forced to set it up. Admin only.

Auto sign-out after inactivity

If no mouse or keyboard activity is detected for this long, the user is signed out. Protects unattended screens on shared computers. Sessions also end whenever the browser tab is closed. Admin only.

What happens when you try to book a freelancer whose day rate is higher than the service's charge-out price (i.e. the booking would make a loss).

Margin protection

On a loss, the booker is stopped. With "Admin can override", an Admin types their email & password on the spot to authorise it — no need to log the other person out.

Anyone with Hire or Warehouse access can draft a PO. This setting controls who can issue one — moving it out of Draft and committing company money.

Who can approve & issue POs

Marking a freelancer PO Paid always needs full Finance access, the same as marking an invoice paid — this setting doesn't change that.
